2010 Citroën Revolte

If Citroën has always denied the retro style, the manufacturer still agrees for a small exception. At the Frankfurt show, he introduced a concept scented 2CV. Its name: Revolte. A curious surname, to the modern interpretation of a car placid manners? Not really. For this "Deuche" of modern times not slavishly imitate Its ancestors. Certainly, the winks are not lacking: bulging wheel wells, cockpit and high arched, small grille ... Even the big canvas roof folds accordion is the rendezvous. But this style of study is covered in sauce luxurious and sporty with its headlights piercing the rear extractor and materials borrowed from the fashion and cosmetics.
Revolte is actually rather small, since its length is 3.68m (2 cm compared to C2), width of 1.73m and height of 1.35 m,
With its aggressive facies, the little Citroen does not usurp the name of rebellion.

The interior also blends modern and retro touches unbridled. For this concept to an uncertain future, the designers have indeed dropped. The driver's bucket seat and steering wheel seem to have been stolen from a ship of Star Wars. What a contrast with the large circular bench covered with velvet, which seems rather to have been borrowed from a Parisian cabaret of the early twentieth century! But it is a place where the Citroën Revolte has nothing to do with the 2CV, it is under the hood. As future DS5 Citroen, Peugeot 3008 and other RCZ HYbrid4 This concept takes advantage of a hybrid diesel engine. With an additional specificity: its batteries can be recharged by mains. The Revolt should shine through its sobriety ...
