Chevrolet Camaro at SEMA 2009

Last year at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, two cars shared the honors of being the cars most processed.

This year, the Chevrolet Camaro seems to have three models, which are more discreet. These are versions designed for firms specialized in tuning, in which engine power is not high enough to satisfy them. The Camaro presented here are cars assembled in very small quantities and usually sold to people with deep pockets, often a storefront in the Californian region.

So this lovely trio of Chevrolet Camaro in all muscles ...

Camaro SS, 25th Anniversary (Hendrick Motorsports)
The Chevrolet Camaro show, depending on the version and the selected engine powers of 304 or 426 horses. This new version will be produced in only 25 copies, posting a power of 582 horsepower, allowing it to reach 100 km / h in just 3.9 seconds. This brute force has been made possible by the use of a Eaton TVS turbocharger. The price is U.S. $ 76 000.

MAL Camaro Concept (Lingenfelter Performance Engineering)
Here, the Camaro gives itself airs literally Pontiac Trans-Am. To do so, it has grafted the grille, hood, spoiler and logos of the latter. Its powerful V8 7.45 liter 655 horsepower emerges and 610 lb-ft of torque. To ensure its handling accordingly, it has to offer ultra lightweight 20 inches alloy wheels , a front and rear width of 10''to 11''.

Camaro LS9 (Hennessey)
In appearance, it resembles the model of said series with its dark gray body without artifice. However, the most demonic of the three models with the 6.2 liter engine, turbo 725 horsepower and 741 lb.-ft. of torque. So powerful a Lamborghini Gallardo, it only takes 3.5 seconds to reach 100km / h. Hennessey is currently developing Camaro 800 or 1 000 horses.
