2009 celebrates this edition of the famous SEMA Show in Las Vegas, engineers of the division 'engines' of Ford, have had the happy idea of tuner, with the complicity of companies Detroit Street Rods and Experi-Metal, a model-Ford3 Window Cup 1934, which is reminiscent of the beautiful Hot Rod this time.
These cars like Hot Rod, which are legion in this event, known to attract attention, particularly those of automotive journalists covering this very special exhibition.
With EcoBoost engine
The engineers developing cleaner engines and Ford ecologists have under the hood a very modern engine; part of the new EcoBoost family.
This engine is a V6 3.5-liter twin turbo direct injection, which according to data from Ford, is around 400 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque. The power of it is delivered to the rear wheels and all mated to a five-speed manual transmission. For the little geniuses at Ford, it is the first time we used this approach on a technology-powered car.
It is also a great opportunity for the manufacturer to demonstrate, once more, this new family of engines at once powerful and more environmentally friendly. In other words, an EcoBoost V6 engine provides power equal to that of a big V8, while the 4L delivers a force equivalent to that of a V6, while deploying an economy greatly improved and accordingly, emitting less CO2 emissions into the air.
