2010 Lexus LF-Ch

Even if the secret had been widely fanned in recent weeks, the official presentation of the future compact Lexus is nonetheless an event of weight. With its dynamic appearance, a particularly careful treatment inside and a premium engine "full hybrid", the LF-Ch gives an idea of what awaits you soon premium competition.

Certainly, we should wait for the future production model CT (provided at the next Geneva Motor Show) to confirm our final decision, but the concept LF-Ch gives us a very strong impression.

To deal with rival premium particularly well off (Audi A3, BMW 1 Series ...), this 5-door efforts primarily on aesthetics worked and very dynamic in the same vein that a Mazda3.

The height contained only 1.40 meters this is probably not unrelated, as well as the integration of several styled details, like the new grille very strong personality (the forthcoming signing of Lexus?), Door handles hidden at the rear lights or ultra-thin rear. I bet that with the exception of sublime chrome rims 20 inches, the end result should vary a little.

This careful look should not prevent to be relatively compact space: despite the conventional side (4.30m long, 1.79m wide), the LF-Ch still manages to offer a very correct wheelbase of 2.60 m.

Inside, the treatment exudes professionalism and sportsmanship including a dashboard asymmetric finest effect. Again, it approaches a final report even if some special effects are once again recall the showcar model, mimicking as counters of turbine blade or seat high-flying mix of metal, leather and wood .. .

As for engine choice, Lexus confirms its vocation green mark since the LF-Ch benefits as the Prius 3 " a powered full hybrid ": it is capable of driving all-electric mode during EV a certain period of time.

No data were provided by Lexus, but according to our sources the selected block is not that of the Prius, but rather that of the HS 250h, the first family exclusively hybrid Lexus and currently only sold in the U.S.
