2010 Renault Zoe Z.E

The manufacturer of Renault announced in 2011 a supply disruption in mobility through the commercialization of electric vehicles. The Renault-Nissan aims for leadership in mass marketing zero-emission vehicles. To support this new strategy, four-car electric concepts are presented to the Frankfurt Motor Show. Each respond to different uses and foreshadow the range of Renault vehicles that offer from 2011.

Among the four-car electric concepts presented in Frankfurt we found approximately:

* The TWIZY Z.E. Concept : remains the urban vehicle for city dwellers looking for an efficient and convenient mobility;
* The ZOE Z.E. Concept : is a versatile compact sedan designed for those who make local trips daily;
* The fluence Z.E. Concept : is a sedan capable of carrying 5 persons;
* The KANGOO Z.E. Concept : foreshadows the electric van which will be aimed at fleets and professionals.

Presentation of Zoe Z.E. concept :

• Zoe Z.E. Concept designed for multi-motor clients looking for a versatile vehicle for small footprint and can respond to everyday uses, such as for commuting to school / work or even shopping.

• Length only 4.10 m and run by an electric motor of 70 kW (226 Nm of torque), we can easily imagine sneaking silently into town. Its large 21-inch wheels and waistline largely reassuring hard top and allow to consider extra-urban routes with confidence for its four occupants.

• At the rear, a retractable spoiler enhances aerodynamic Zoe ZE Concept. It spreads from 90 km / h. Equipped with LED, the wing serves as a fire stop, as the firewall in the antenna wing shark placed on the flag.The exterior of Zoe Z.E. Concept integrates technologies for zero emission `

• The roof was designed as an intelligent protective membrane that protects from heat as well as cold and optimizes the management of the air by recovering energy through its solar cells in a honeycomb;

• At the front and rear protective polyurethane gel cover fires compounds of low consumption LEDs while spreading their blue lights. The second skin protects the vulnerable parts of the small urban shocks, while stressing the identity of electric vehicle technology;

• The air intakes located on the sides, direct airflow to cool the batteries. The air is clear by the two large rear extractors by which we can glimpse the suspension arm sections and keeled;

• Reverse outside view is provided by two low consumption profiled cameras, which send their images on the rearview central mirror offering the driver an excellent view without blind spot;

Inside widescreen TFT (Thin Film Transistor) is in a glass bubble. It is the information and navigation center Zoe Z.E. This color can also be selected automatically by a sensor in the seat that will pair the mood light with the color of clothing of the driver.

Information is animated by a small figure (avatar) that appears on the TFT screen and makes the link between the driver and technology by small messages. Customizable (man, woman, internet download), it informs the traffic conditions, route, reassures on autonomy and the proposed increase, indicating the recharging terminals nearby example.The card is also free hand customizable: a chip to integrate a subject chosen by the customer allows the condemnation of the doors and starting the car. Then, the air conditioning system goes far beyond its usual function of temperature control.

This triple action system has been developed in partnership with Biotherm ®, the brand of skin biology of the Luxury Products Division of L'Oreal.
