2010 Toyota Auris HSD Full Hybrid Concept

Despite its dress and pearly electric blue interior, the Auris concept foreshadows HSD related to draft a model series which will be marketed in the second half of 2010.

Its engine is strictly identical to that of the Prius III. Its performance will be very close: Toyota announces CO2 emissions below 100 g per km and from 0 to 100 km / h launched in less than 10 s.

However, the marketing of this car in the second half of 2010 will not be a trivial event: it will kick some standardization (we dare not speak of normalization) of hybrid cars. For this type of engine is currently reserved for high end or a bit strange vehicle aesthetics , like the Prius III or the Honda Insight. Riding in hybrid is still a choice that appears.

With the Auris hybrid, we can take this in a hybrid car "normal" designed largely for the European market. To observe the Auris concept HSD, the aesthetic characteristics of this new version will be minimal. Lower than 20 mm .. It features a small Hybrid badges placed on the front wing and receives rims aerodynamic design. It is also notable for its roof covered with solar panels like the Prius.

The interior design is characterized by its blue and white. Except that this color will probably not available in series, the changes are minor: the discovery of blue dials and control gear CVT specific. Otherwise, the Auris is true to itself.
