2010 Bugatti Galibier 16C

The Frankfurt Motor Show opened its doors to the press Tuesday 15 and Thursday 17 to the public. Despite the sluggish economy and market, builders have surpassed to present a new plateau and "first world" more exceptional than ever. It is time to summarize the new models that are presented. A ticket will be devoted to each model. It is the turn of the Bugatti 16C Galibier Concept.

Bugatti finally gives milled grains for fans! The Veyron is in effect since 2002 (1998 if you count the many concepts which announced) and end of production is already scheduled Despite all the criticisms against the expensive French brand, the VW Group is not about to abandon its treasure, in announcing the future of the brand: a large sedan with outstanding performance, and infinite luxury.

A Bugatti imprint of past

It can recall the Bugatti EB-118, created by Giugiaro in 1998. The design easily joins that of the Veyron at the front and the famous Type46 behind in the vertical ramp diodes. The 8 exhaust, if somewhat exaggerated, are also a point marks the past. The flanks are bright aluminum, which reduces the line, and allows the stand to Frankfurt to make a parallel with the bloody blue Veyron. The overall impression is very beautiful, but lacks aggressiveness.

To do well against the 1001 Horse of the "young Sister", the 16C Galibier W16 offers the same 8.0 liter displacement. Its power, not communicated, could have increased further. Directors as to the brand surpassed themselves to the inside. The luxury is palpable, whether for wood burl walnut or cream leather that covers the entire cabin.

An incredibly luxurious interior

Great banner of an idea of luxury worthy of fantasy, the 16C Galibier could see production when one of the Veyron will be completed. It must convince the minions of the VAG group, reluctant to waste resources with the acquisition of Porsche. But the end is undoubtedly what means. Ettore Bugatti could not imagine a better tribute to the centenary of his legendary creation.
